About this study day

This study day is aimed at professionals who want to improve their leadership skills and ability to manage people and teams. It is primarily aimed at ward or unit managers who wish to develop their leadership skills. Those who have attended previous study days have evaluated the day very positively but because of the group mix that we have attracted the day is not appropriate for more senior managers.

The study day will cover

  • Introduction to MBTI Profiling
  • Personality Preferences: what is your type?
  • Using Differences Constructively
  • Leadership and Management Development
  • Promoting Team Effectiveness

The study day aims to highlight the individual’s leadership preferences and their potential for future development. Participants will analyse their personality preferences and their style of relating to and leading teams. The day will consist of presentation, self analysis, discussion and group work. Each participant will be asked to complete a MBTI questionnaire prior to attending the course.

Please note that if you are interested in attending this day, you must ensure that you register your place, otherwise study days could mistakenly be cancelled.
