About this study day

The aim of this day is to consider the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of patients and their families when entering the terminal phase of an illness. The study day will include the assessment and management of common symptoms and problems; the importance of sensitive communication with both patients and their families, and the importance of working within a multi-disciplinary team.

The study day is suitable for health-care professionals working in a variety of settings where cancer patients are nursed at the end of their lives.

Please note that if you are interested in attending this day, you must ensure that you register your place, otherwise study days could mistakenly be cancelled.
