The nursing profession is moving to an all-graduate degree. Like most universities, we are currently waiting for confirmation from the government as to the level of funding student nurses will receive and the eligibility requirements needed to access this.

What will I earn when I qualify?
The current minimum starting salary for newly qualified nurses in London is approximately £22,000 – £25,000, not including any out-of-hours allowances. Earnings can rise quite significantly with Ward Sisters/Charge Nurses earning in the region of £28,886 – £33,874. In the ouer London area a Modern Matron will earn approximately £42,265 and Nurse Consultants in the outer London area can earn in the region of £57,868 (Research, Education, Clinical Practice).
