Before you progress with your application, it’s a good idea to check with your employer to see if funding is available.
If you’re planning on covering the cost of a programme yourself, there are a number of options you should explore. One option is to contact professional organisations or charities related to your specialist area, to see if there are any scholarships or grants available to cover course fees or expenses. You could also try some of the organisations set up to offer support to learners in general, such as the Hilda Martindale Educational Trust.
If you’re considering a nursing-related course, and you trained at one of the old hospital-based schools of nursing, you could contact the Nurses League, who may be able to help you.
Last but not least, use the internet to explore financing opportunities, and don’t forget to ask around. As the saying goes ‘if you don’t ask, you don’t get’.
You can find out the cost of all our programmes by calling us on 01494 603 171 or emailing ask@bucks.ac.uk.
For longer courses, costs can normally be paid in instalments.
