Overview
This module will develop your management skills through the study and analysis of different theoretical models of management and leadership. A professional development dimension is included involving your identification of your own leadership and management style and ability. The module will enable you to reflect upon, analyse and critically evaluate the needs of the workforce and utilise different concepts of work psychology.
You will be enabled to manage the concept of planned organisational change driven by internal and external environments, for example changes in legislation or in clients/children’s needs or expectations as well as routine management and teambuilding skills required in your workplace.
